The important things you should know in sending email fax to other countries are country codes and city codes. Of course it is aside from the fax number of your recipient that you already know. These codes will let you explore all around the world.

 

Country codes are use for data processing and communications which is defined as short alphabetic or numeric geographical codes that represent countries and dependent areas. The ISO 3166-1 is the famous standard set by International Organization for Standardization. This give codes for the names of countries, dependent territories and special areas of geographical interest.

As you notice the country codes above, it begins with a "+" sign. These country codes will help you to direct the fax you have send to the correct recipient. You have the country codes and ready to send the fax through internet faxing.

 

To give a specific path for your fax document, the city code or municipal code should be present in the recipient address also. It is simply a number sequence for the identification of politically independent municipalities. It differs from country to country and city to city. Let us take for example the area codes in Argentina.
