Problem In Connecting To Internet Using Gateway 9300 Laptop

am having the Gateway 9300 laptop and the problem which i am facing is that i am not able to connect to the internet because this laptop does not have the LAN card port for connecting. This laptop only has the Modem port. So suggest me some solutions for resolving this issue. I want to resolve the problem in connecting to internet with Gateway 9300 laptop as soon as possible.

You are having the Gateway 9300 laptop and you are having problem in connecting to the internet from this laptop because you are saying that this laptop does not have the LAN card so that you can connect the router to the laptop using the LAN cable. This laptop only has the modem for connecting the phone line. I think your laptop is older that is the reason it does not have the LAN card in it. Although you have some options left to be able to connect to the internet using this laptop.

I have checked this Gateway 9300 laptop on the website of the gateway and this does not has the LAN card as you said in your query. This laptop has the modem for connecting the phone line for accessing the internet. You can connect directly the phone line of your land line telephone to the modem port of this laptop and access the internet. You are not having any other option to solve this issue.

If this Gateway 9300 laptop is upgradable then you can add the LAN card on the motherboard of this laptop which will resolve the issue of connecting to the internet using this laptop. I want to ask you that is this laptop has the WLAN for accessing the internet wirelessly. If it has the WLAN then you can access the internet wirelessly provided that you are having the wireless internet service.

This Gateway 9300 laptop does not have the WLAN also for accessing the internet wirelessly. I know that if this laptop would have the WLAN then i can purchase the wireless router and access the internet through that network easily. But the issue is that this laptop does not have the Wi-Fi also. Is there any other way available by which i can solve this problem.

I have the solution for this issue which you are facing with the Gateway 9300 laptop. There are two ways two solve this problem. First, Purchase the USB WLAN adapter and after that you can access to the wireless network easily and browse on the internet. Second , Purchase the USB LAN card , after that you will be able to connect the laptop and router using the LAN Cable. You can resolve this issue by doing anyone of this. So its upto you now, which solution you will select.
